US Tourist Gang Raped In India By Truck Drivers

The 30-year-old tourist from US was gang raped in India in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. US tourist was raped by truck driver and two of his partners. This is the second rape of the month after 21-year-old Irish charity worker was raped in Kolkata.

According to police truck driver offered lift to US tourist in Manali (a resort town) who accepted the lift and took her to in isolated spot and than three men raped her in the truck. Police Inspector Abhimanyu Kumar from Minai told media that that American tourist didn’t remember the truck number plate nor did she understand what those men were talking with each other.

Inspector Abhimanyu Kumar said that all the truck drivers in Minali are ordered to report police station where all of these truck drivers will be identified by the woman. Because of several rape incidents in India foreign women tourists had dropped by 35 per cent.
